RIVEN RATANAVANH




Riven Ratanavanh (b. 1996 in Bangkok, Thailand) is a New York-based interdisciplinary artist who works in performance, installation, sound, and film. Their work explores embodied and sonic realms of power, gender, and relationality.

They hack into various technologies to amplify and augment bodily processes, transforming physiological phenomena to create new modes of sensing, perceiving, and being.

Their work has been shown at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) London, the London Short Film Festival, the Seattle Trans Film Festival, on the Piccadilly Lights in London. They have featured by Dazed Magazine, NYCxDESIGN, and CIRCA.

They have danced with Young Boy Dancing Group, taught movement workshops at Performance Space, and performed at H0L0, among other venues.
